Artykuł inspirowany jest opublikowanym w tym numerze „Głosu Prawa” tekstem „O dobro adwokatury polskiej” autorstwa prof. Maurycego Allerhanda. Wykorzystując wyniki historyczno-porównawczych badań ratio (sensu, uzasadnienia) przedawnienia, autorka polemizuje z opinią prof. Allerhanda, że niehonorowe jest korzystanie z zarzutu przedawnienia, kiedy świadczenie było należne. W artykule odniesiono się również do uwag prof. Allerhanda na temat użyteczności historii prawa i jej nauczania.

The paper is inspired by the article "O dobro adwokatury" polskiej written by Professor Maurycy Allerhand and published in this volume of “The Voice of Law”. By applying the results of the historical-comparative study of the ratio (sense, justification) of prescription, the author disagrees with Professor Allerhand’s opinion that it is dishonourable for an attorney to use the defence of prescription if the claim is justified. Some of Professor Allerhand’s remarks on the role of legal history are also discussed.

Artykuł poświęcony jest badaniu ukraińskiego narzecza północnego (poleskiego), a ściślej rzecz ujmując, w jego ramach przestudiowane zostało zagadnienie wpływu białoruskiej przestrzeni językowej na strukturę tutejszych gwar. Opracowanie miało na celu wskazanie i opisanie cech charakterystycznych dla ukraińskich gwar poleskich, ale takich, które świadczą o wspólnych z gwarami południowobiałoruskimi tendencjach ewolucji zjawisk dialektalnych albo przeniknęły do ich struktury wskutek wpływu białoruskiego. W związku z tym badania miały w dużej mierze charakter konfrontatywny. Dlatego też na potrzeby analizy została przyjęta metoda historycznoporównawcza i opisowa.

The present paper is devoted to the research on the Ukrainian northern supradialect or, more precisely, the issue of the influence of Belarusian language space on the structure of local subdialects within it. The paper aims to indicate and describe characteristic features of Ukrainian Polesian subdialects, yet only those that testify to common with South Belarusian dialects trends in the evolution of dialectal phenomena or that penetrated into their structure as a result of Belarusian influence. In connection with this, the research is largely confrontational. This is why comparativehistorical and descriptive methods of analysis were taken up.
