The Author reviews texts of Polish andragogues in the scope of com- parative andragogy. Due to the popularity of international comparative research, she focuses mainly on publications of the series „Library of adult education” and periodicals „Adult education” and „Andragogy Annual” – publications of the Polish Academic Andragogy Society, the contribution of which is invaluable to the de- velopment of comparative andragogy. The article reflects on the topicality and the relevance of conducting comparative research in adult education, furthermore, it is an attempt to name the trends and tendencies in Polish comparative andragogy after the year 1989. The described output is systematized according to the following criteria: research characterizing foreign systems of adult education, studies devoted to chosen aspects of functioning of adult education abroad, juxtaposing work, interdisciplinary cross-cultural studies and work with methodological reflection on conducting cross- cultural comparative research in adult education.

Autorka dokonuje krótkiego przeglądu tekstów polskich andragogów, mieszczących się w nurcie andragogiki porównawczej. Ze względu na popularność międzynarodowych badań porównawczych wśród polskich andragogów, skupia swoją uwagę głównie na publikacjach wydawanych w serii „Biblioteka Edukacji Dorosłych” oraz periodykach „Edukacja dorosłych” i „Rocznik Andragogiczny” – wydawnictwach Akademickiego Towarzystwa Andragogicznego, którego wkład w rozwój andragogiki porównawczej jest nie do przecenienia. Artykuł zawiera refleksję na temat aktualności i zasadności prowadzenia badań porównawczych w edu- kacji dorosłych; stanowi próbę dostrzeżenia trendów i tendencji polskiej andragogiki porównawczej po 1989 roku. Usystematyzowanie omawianego dorobku następuje w oparciu o następujące kryteria: prace badawcze opisujące zagraniczne systemy edukacji dorosłych, prace poświęcone wybranym aspektom funkcjonowania edukacji dorosłych za granicą, prace bazujące na jukstapozycji, interdyscyplinarne studia mię- dzykulturowe oraz prace zawierające refleksję metodologiczną na temat prowadzenia międzynarodowych badań porównawczych w edukacji dorosłych.
