W artykule określone są długookresowe kierunki zmian zależności między modelami polityki mieszkaniowej a warunkami mieszkaniowymi. W pierwszych powojennych dekadach określonym modelom odpowiadają znaczne różnice warunków mieszkaniowych. Na początku XXI w. istnieje niewielkie zróżnicowanie modeli i warunków mieszkaniowych w zasiedziałych państwach Unii Europejskiej. Cechy jakościowe tych warunków rejestrowane w ogólnoeuropejskich badaniach uwydatnią znaczne pozostawienie w tyle większości państw transformacji i innych przyjętych po 2004 r. lub kandydujących do UE.

The article refer to the long-term trends in the relationship between models of housing policy and housing conditions. In the early postwar decades, specific models correspond to significant differences in housing conditions. At the beginning of the XXI century there is a slight variation of models and housing in the “EU-15” countries. Quality characteristics of housing conditions recorded in Pan-European researches accentuated significant detachment in this field most of the transformation countries and other adopted after 2004, or EU candidate.
