The perspective of faith makes it possible to interpret the phenomenon of tourism in the context of the salvific work of Jesus Christ, which renews mankind and the world around us. The reality of human relaxation in its diverse forms, including tourism, has been incorporated into the mystery of a new creation in Christ (recreatio). That is why it can be also understood as salutary re-creation implemented in the life of an individual. The gift of free time is always an opportunity for the individual to develop, enrich oneself and strive for perfection. In this context we can discuss genuine recreation as a notion of creating a person in the deepest sense. The fact that we are endowed with spare time is followed by the above-mentioned and analyzed moral commitments. They sensitize us to the value of an individual and the importance of treating oneself and others in accordance with the so called personalistic norm, which rooted and confirmed in divine revelation.

Perspektywa wiary daje możliwość interpretacji fenomenu turystyki w kontekście zbawczego dzieła Jezusa Chrystusa, które odnawia człowieka i świat. W tajemnicę nowego stworzenia w Chrystusie (recreatio) włączona została także rzeczywistość ludzkiego odpoczynku w jego wielorakich formach, a co za tym idzie również i turystyka. Dlatego też może być ona rozumiana jako jedna z dróg realizującej się w życiu człowieka zbawczej re-kreacji. Dar czasu wolnego jest zawsze okazją do rozwoju osoby, jej ubogacenia oraz doskonalenia. W tym sensie możemy mówić o osobowotwórczym wymiarze autentycznej rekreacji. Z niego też wynikają zaprezentowane i analizowane w artykule zobowiązania moralne. Uwrażliwiają one na wartość osoby i traktowanie jej w myśl tzw. normy personalistycznej, znajdującej swe źródło oraz potwierdzenie w Bożym objawieniu.
