Zarządzanie, w tym skuteczne motywowanie pracowników różnych generacji, należy współcześnie do grupy problemów szczególnie aktualnych oraz inspirujących. Mimo dużej popularności wciąż daje się zauważyć brak satysfakcjonującej wiedzy na temat skutecznych narzędzi motywowania menedżerów różnych generacji, różnych szczebli zarządzania. Brak znajomości lub wręcz ignorowanie preferencji liderów to duże niedopatrzenie i wyraz deficytu kompetencji w obszarze zarządzania. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest wskazanie, na bazie przeprowadzonych badań empirycznych, które z poddanych analizie motywatorów mają szczególnie istotne znaczenie w procesie skutecznego motywowania menedżerów w różnym wieku.

Management, including the effective motivating of workers of various generations is presently included in the group of problems that are particularly current and inspiring. In spite of significant popularity, a lack of satisfactory knowledge on effective tools for motivating managers of various generations and various management levels continues to be visible. The dearth of knowledge and even the outright ignoring of the preferences of leaders are a major oversight and an expression of the deficit in competencies in this area of management. The objective of the paper is to indicate, on the basis of own conducted empirical research, which of the analyzed motivators is especially important in the process of effective management of managers of various ages.
