Das Thema der vorliegenden Überlegungen ist die Analyse der praktischen Anwendung der auf dem Boden der Geschichtsphilosophie gebildeten sog. historischen Gesetze. Um ihre starken und schwachen Seiten aufzuzeigen, konfrontiert sie der Autor mit den auf dem Boden der Naturwissenschaften formulierten Gesetzen. Das Ziel dieses Verfahrens liegt darin, eine Bilanz zu schaffen, die sowohl den Nutzen des Studiums der Geschichte als auch ihre "wissenschaftlichen" Schwächen berücksichtigt.

The article analyzes the practical application of history laws as developed within the philosophy of history context. To indicate their strengths and weaknesses, the author confronts the laws with those  devised  on the ground  of natural sciences. The purpose of such an approach is to draw-up a balance sheet taking into account the benefits of practicing history and its “scientific” shortcomings.

Tematem rozważań jest analiza praktycznego wykorzystania, tworzonych na gruncie filozofii historii, tzw. praw dziejowych. W celu ukazania ich mocnych i słabych stron autor konfrontuje je z prawami formułowanymi na gruncie nauk przyrodniczych. Cel tego zabiegu to stworzenie bilansu, który uwzględni zarówno korzyści płynące z uprawiania historii, jak i jej „naukowe” mankamenty.
