Possibilities of balancing of anthropogenic changes of relief and water conditions in the Tatra Mountains

During its entire utilisation history - lasting several hundred years - the area of the Tatra Mountains underwent multidirectional anthropopressure. As the result, all components of their natural environment have been transformed, including relief and water conditions.The analysis of the literature on this topie conducted by the author, as well as his observations performed in the area, confirmed the assumption that transformations caused by human actions developed with varying intensity and admitted various forms depending on the area of action and the magnitude of means applied. The transformation scalę presented here estimates the influence of anthropopressure on the stability of the catchment area systems of larger Tatra streams, partial catchment areas of their confluents and selected slope surfaces. In systems, where the limits of persistence were not exceeded, stability was ensured by natural processes compensating for the conseąuences of anthropopressure. In systems where stability was disturbed, planned preventive measures are necessary.

Celem opracowania jest charakterystyka potencjału systemu przyrodniczego Wrocławskiego Obszaru Funkcjonalnego oraz sformułowanie wytycznych do jego kształtowania. W  artykule wyjaśniono pojęcie systemu przyrodniczego, zwrócono uwagę na dyskusję dotyczącą terminologii oraz przedstawiono zasady jego formowania. Przedstawiono problemy związane z zapewnieniem jego ciągłości przestrzennej oraz spójności funkcjonalnej. Określono potencjał przyrodniczy gmin Wrocławskiego Obszaru Funkcjonalnego oraz wskazano możliwe kierunki kształtowania systemu ekologicznego. Wyniki analiz danych statystycznych przedstawiono na kartogramach. We wnioskach zaproponowano wytyczne do kształtowania systemu przyrodniczego miejskiego obszaru funkcjonalnego.

The aim of this research is summary of potential the natural environment system of the Wroclaw Functional Area and identify guidelines to shape natural environment system. In this paper explained the term of the natural environment system and presented the rules of molding the ecological system. The problems of the spatial continuity and functional cohesion of the natural environment system have been presented. The article specifies the natural potential of the communes of the Wroclaw Functional Area and indicates possible directions of shaping the green infrastructure on this area. The results of analyzes have been presented on the cartograms. Conclusions contain the guidelines for shaping the natural environment system of the functional urban area.

Ze względu na dużą dynamikę rozwoju, w historii powojennej w latach 1950 - 2010 dla Górnego Śląska opracowano kilkadziesiąt planów, studiów i strategii dla całego województwa bądź samej Aglomeracji Górnośląskiej. Koncepcje te opierały się na różnych założeniach, opracowywane były również w różnym stopniu dokładności oraz prezentujących różnorakie podejście do tematu systemu obszarów chronionych. Plany te poruszały wiele problemów, które nadal są aktualne, a ówczesne koncepcje wyprzedzał swoją epokę.

Due to the great dynamics of development, several dozen plans, studies and strategies for the entire voivodship or Upper Silesian Agglomeration were prepared for Upper Silesia in the years 1950-2010. These concepts were based on different assumptions, were also elaborated to varying degrees of accuracy, and presented a different approach to the theme of the protected area system. These plans were covering a number of problems that are still valid, and these concepts were ahead of their time.
