The text describes the different ideas how to organize phonetics exercises during One Year Preparatory Course. The teacher is working with international groups during 10 months 45 minutes every week. He can observe individual problems each of students and try to find the best way to correct their pronunciation. It’s possible when teacher has theoretical knowledge and practical phonetic skills.

The aim of this paper is to show the artistic aspects of phonetics and teaching phonetics basing on German speech sounds and their combinations in this language. This branch of linguistics called the methodology of phonetics reveals its artistic signs.The art as virtuosi and singers prove is a very good means to work on better and better pronunciation and finally its automatic production. Without motivation and spontaneity particularly working on pronunciation perfecting it cannot continue. Since the vocal apparatus and the speech itself base on similar physical mechanisms such as playing instruments, linguists have tried to collect a number of articulatory and drilling exercises in the form of études (rythmical but also melodic) to help the whole process be effective.

The article discusses the problem of Polish pronunciation for non-Polish speakers in an international group. The author describes the method of testing articulation skills of the students and presents an analysis of the main phonetic challenges. She concludes with some guidelines of how to organize the course of Polish pronunciation during the One Year Preparatory Course at the School of Polish Language and Culture for Foreigners in Wrocław.

Porusza problem badania trudności artykulacyjnych, opisu wymowy studenta oraz doskonalenia jego sprawności w zakresie wymowy. Formułuje także ogólne wnioski dotyczące planowania zadań fonetycznych dla cudzoziemców.

The aim of this paper is to show relevant teaching topics of Polish language phonodidactics, which, as it is believed, should be obligatory in such majors or specializations as teaching Polish/second language to foreigners or speech‑language pathology. The changing world and the growing number of multilingual people in Poland determine specific changes in universities that include work with people with migration experience. The issues in question should be discussed during the course of studies in order to prevent students of both disciplines from making mistakes during their professional practice.

Celem artykułu jest wykazanie istotnych treści nauczania z zakresu fonodydaktyki polonistycznej, które – jak się uważa – powinny być obowiązkowe na takich kierunkach lub specjalizacjach, jak nauczanie języka polskiego jako obcego/drugiego czy logopedia. Przeobrażający się świat i coraz większa liczba osób wielojęzycznych w Polsce determinują określone zmiany w programach nauczania, które uwzględniają pracę z osobami z doświadczeniem migracji. Na przykładzie autorskich zajęć wymienia się te zagadnienia, które w opinii autorki tekstu powinny być omawiane w trakcie studiów, aby uchronić adeptów obu dyscyplin przed popełnianiem błędów podczas praktyki zawodowej.

Zainteresowanie obcokrajowców podjęciem nauki i pracy w Polsce zmusza ich do intensywnej nauki języka polskiego i opanowania sfery fonetyczno-fonologicznej, będącej fundamentem dla pozostałych podsystemów języka. Coraz częściej osoby uczące się języka polskiego jako obcego (JPJO) korzystają z pomocy logopedy, posiadającego specjalistyczną wiedzę z fonetyki artykulacyjnej oraz dysponującego umiejętnością wywoływania głosek. W artykule przedstawiono przegląd literatury dotyczącej problemów fonetyczno-fonologicznych obcokrajowców uczących się języka polskiego z perspektywy dwóch interdyscyplinarnych i powiązanych ze sobą nauk – logopedii i glottodydaktyki polonistycznej. Omówione zostały kierowane do obcokrajowców procedury działań logopedycznych, do których należy diagnoza oraz terapia wad wymowy lub usprawnianie sfery artykulacyjno-prozodycznej za pomocą metod glottodydaktyczno-logopedycznych.

The interest of foreigners in studying and working in Poland compels them to study Polish intensely and to master the phonetic and phonological sphere, which is the foundation for other language subsystems. More and more students studying Polish as a foreign language benefit from the help of a speech therapist, which has the specialist knowledge of articulation phonetics and has the ability to make sounds. The article presents a review on research on phonetic and phonological problems of foreigners learning Polish language from the perspective of two interdisciplinary and related sciences – speech therapy and Polish language glottodidactics. We discussed speech therapy procedures addressed to foreigners, which include diagnosis and therapy of speech defects or the improvement of the articulatory and prosodic sphere using glottodidactic and speech therapy methods.
