Praca dotyczy sześciu drzeworytów chińskich ze zbiorów Muzeum Pałacu Króla Jana III w Wilanowie. Odbitki są przykładem chińskiej sztuki ludowej, jaką są obrazki noworoczne (nianhua), pochodzą z warsztatu Wschodzącego Słońca rodziny Dai. Artykuł prezentuje historię dzieł oraz pomieszczenia, w którym były eksponowane odbitki. Wprowadzając temat drzeworytów noworocznych, poddano szczegółowej analizie treści przedstawień odbitek.

The fallowing work relates to five woodcuts from the Museum of King Jan III`s Palace at Wilanów collection. The prints are examples of the Chinese folk art known as “New Year Pictures” (nianhua), and they originated in The Rising Sun workshop of Dai family. The article presents the history of the prints and a history of the room in which the prints were exhibited. The topic of New Year Pictures and their content are analyzed in detail.
