Praca dotyczy problematyki funkcjonowanie niemieckich partii dalekiej prawicy na terenie krajów związkowych – Saksonia oraz Meklemburgia Pomorze - Przednie. Omówiona została definicja ugrupowań należących do tego nurtu, poparcie społeczne uzyskane przez relewantne partie ekstremalnie prawicowe, jak również stosunek partii estabilishmentu do problematyki ultraprawicy. W kolejnej części pracy zwracam uwagę natomiast na główne przyczyny poparcia dla dalekiej prawicy na omawianych terenach. Podsumowanie stanowi odpowiedź na pytanie, o stopień zagrożenia dla stabilności lokalnego systemu politycznego ze strony skrajnej prawicy jak również przedstawia metody przeciwdziałania procesowi „brunatnienia” wschodnich Niemiec.

This article concerns the issue of far right German parties’ functioning on the territories of two German states – Saxony and Mecklenburg Western Pomerania. The problems discussed in the article are as follows: definition of parties belonging to this political movement and social support gained by relevant extreme right parties as well as the attitude of establishment parties towards the issue of ultra right-wing. In the consecutive part of the article I focus mostly on the reasons of far right wing following on the discussed territories. Conclusion of the article is at the same time an answer to the question about the danger level of radical right wing for the stability of local political system. Additionally, it depicts the methods of overcoming the “going brown” process in Eastern Germany.
