The main aim of this article is a description of the barriers, errors and noises, that occur in the process of political communication. The factors that disturb effective process of political communication are: cultural, psychosocial, formal and linguistic barriers. Political communication is also made difficult by wrong use of verbal or nonverbal messages. In the literature on the subject the barriers in the process of political communication are referred to as a noise. Depending on the source from which it comes, there are three types of noises: external, internal and semantic.
