This paper aims to analyse the structure of security offered by issuers trading on the Catalyst market. In addition, the article attempts to predict the direction of Catalyst market development in the field of security. The article uses the method of secondary data analysis. On the basis of the analysis, the following conclusions can be drawn up. The Catalyst market is dominated by unsecured bonds. Only companies offer secured bonds to investors. The two main types of securities are mortgages and liens. It can be assumed that in the coming years, the number of bonds with collateral will decrease due to the larger share of banks among issuers. The article concerns the organized market of bonds, which operates in Poland. As regards the classification, the paper is a research article.

Artykuł ma na celu analizę struktury zabezpieczenia oferowanego przez emitentów prowadzących obrót papierami wartościowymi na rynku Catalyst. Ponadto autor próbuje określić kierunek rozwoju rynku Catalyst w dziedzinie zabezpieczeń. W artykule zastosowano metodę analizy danych wtórnych. Na podstawie analizy można wyciągnąć następujące wnioski. Rynek Catalyst jest zdominowany przez obligacje niezabezpieczone. Tylko spółki oferują inwestorom obligacje zabezpieczone. Dwoma głównymi rodzajami papierów wartościowych są hipoteki i zastawy. Można założyć, że w nadchodzących latach liczba obligacji z zabezpieczeniem będzie malała ze względu na większy udział banków wśród emitentów. Artykuł dotyczy zorganizowanego rynku obligacji działającego w Polsce. Jeżeli chodzi o klasyfikację, opracowanie jest artykułem badawczym.
