W artykule przedstawiono ofertę agroturystyczną powiatu wieruszowskiego, który wyróżnia się na tle innych powiatów województwa łódzkiego stosunkowo wysokim poziomem rozwoju funkcji agroturystycznej. Do rozwoju bazy agroturystycznej w powiecie przyczyniły się: duża lesistość, obecność cieków i akwenów wodnych, otwarty i mozaikowy krajobraz, niski poziom urbanizacji i materialne dziedzictwo kulturowe obszarów wiejskich, a także kreatywność i przedsiębiorczość kwaterodawców (stworzenie lokalnego stowarzyszenia agroturystycznego, uczestnictwo w lokalnych imprezach i targach turystycznych).

This article shows the development of agritourism offer in Wieruszów district, which stands out from other districts in łódzkie voivodship (central Poland) relatively high development level of agritourism function index. The development of agritourism in this region is contributed by high forest cover, the presence of watercourses and water bodies, open and mosaic landscape, low level of urbanization and material cultural heritage of rural areas, as well as the creativity and entrepreneurship of agritourism farms owners (creation of local agritourism association, participation in local events and tourism fairs).
