„Rosja – strategia imperium” to artykuł przybliżający do zrozumienia sposoby myślenia i postępowania elit politycznych i decyzyjnych naszego Wielkiego Wschodniego Sąsiada. Przedstawia zarys rozwoju imperium od czasów niewoli tatarskiej do współczesności, z uwzględnieniem wpływu jaki miał rozpad ZSRR na myślenie i działanie obecnych decydentów i zwykłych obywateli. Na bazie tego materiału autor analizuje myśl geopolityczną i strategiczną w Federacji Rosyjskiej na tle kontekstu historycznego i bieżących działań. Końcowa części artykułu, to próba spekulacji wokół możliwych wariantów geopolitycznego rozwoju Imperium i sytuacji światowej.

“Russia – strategy of the empire” is an article enabling to understand the way of thinking and acting of political and decisional elites of our Great East Neighbour. It presents a draft of development of the empire from the times of Tatar slavery to contemporary times, with consideration of the impact that the breakdown of USSR has had on thinking and acting of present policymakers and ordinary citizens. On the basis of the following material an author analyses geopolitical and strategic notion in Russian Federation against historical framework and current actions. Final part of the article is an attempt of speculation around possible options of geopolitical development of the Empire and world’s situation.
