Streszczenie: Trąd nadal stanowi duży problem we współczesnym świecie. Zwłaszcza w krajach trzeciego świata. Ojciec Adam Wiśniewski (1913-1987) ukończył medycynę w 1947 roku w Poznaniu. Na początku lat 60. rozpoczął swoją życiową misję, podróżując do Indii. Założył centrum Jeevodaya, wspierające chorych na trąd ludzi w różnych aspektach życia, w tym w opiece zdrowotnej.

Leprosy constitutes still a big problem in modern world, especially in third world countries. Father Adam Wiśniewski (1913-1987), graduated medicine in 1947 in Poznan. In early 60’ he started his life mission by traveling to India. He founded a Jeevodaya center, supporting lepromatous people in different aspects of life, including health care.
