Celem opracowania jest przybliżenie teorii wyjaśniających kwestię oddziaływania filmu na procesy rozumienia zarówno własnych postaw i zachowań, jak i otoczenia społecznego. Obszar podjętych poszukiwań wyznaczają teorie z zakresu: psychologii mediów oraz wywodzące się z paradygmatu poznawczo-narracyjnego. Omówione zostały koncepcje: identyfikacji, relacji paraspołecznych oraz kluczowe rozstrzygnięcia w zakresie znaczenia procesów narracyjnych dla tożsamości jednostki.

The purpose of the paper is to discuss some theories that explain the issue of the impact of the film on the processes of understanding both own attitudes and behavior as well as the social environment. The area of research is determined by theories in the field of media psychology and derived from the cognitive-narrative paradigm. The following concepts are discussed: identification, parasocial relationship and key decisions on the importance of narrative processes for the identity of the individual.
