Przedmiotem badań, które prezentuję w niniejszym tekście, uczyniłam współpracę nauczycieli z rodzicami adolescentów. Badania prowadzono wśród nauczycieli klas gimnazjalnych (N = 141). Wyniki badań koncentrują się wokół preferowanych form kontaktu nauczycieli z rodzicami, trudności i barier, jakie napotykają oni w tym obszarze. Badani nauczyciele określali też działania, jakie podejmują, by zachęcić rodziców do współpracy ze szkołą, oraz oczekiwania, jakie mają wobec rodziców. Tylko 27% badanych bardzo dobrze ocenia swoją współpracę z rodzicami. Jednocześnie źródeł wszelkich niedociągnięć nauczyciele szukają poza własną pracą i kompetencjami.

The subject of the research I am presenting in this text was cooperation between teachers and the parents of adolescents. The research was conducted among teachers of lower secondary schools (N = 141). The research results focus on the preferred forms of contact between teachers and parents, difficulties and barriers encountered in this area. Teachers surveyed also identified actions taken to encourage parents to cooperate with the school and their expectations towards parents. Only 27% of respondents rated their cooperation with parents as very good. At the same time, they are looking for sources of any shortcomings beyond their own work and competences.
