The objective of this article is to present possibilities of using educational mechanisms to design offers which take into account the need for developing social competence of adults. Therefore, selected suggestions concerning defining and perceiving the role of social competence in a general competence profile of an adult have been given. The author presents the issue in terms of both the labour market requirements and challenges that organizers of educational offer for the learning adults face. In order to exemplify the complexity of the issue of working with adults on their social development, the concept of experiential education has been presented. The concept was selected due to the fact that it can be applied in regard to creating educational effects aiming at enhancing entrepreneurial and proactive attitudes.

Pozwala jednocześnie zachować zasady współcześnie rozumianej profi laktyki, gdzie oprócz wspierania odporności jednostkowej, oddala się zmienne sprzyjające niepożądanym postawom.

Pedagogy of tourism is a new solution to support the development of individuals in building resistance to pathologies conduct and a new method for use in the prevention of society. This method has a positive effect on social competence, social skills and a sense of autonomy, self-esteem allows you to build an adequate juvenile and change the internal value system. It also allows to maintain the principle of prevention understood today, where in addition to supporting the resistance unit moves away unwanted variables favorable attitude

Its aim was to present the role of outdoor and ecological education in stimulating the development of children and adults. The author examines art therapy in the context of nature and ecology.

Kształtowanie edukacji ekologicznej dla zrównoważonego rozwoju jest jednym ze współczesnych wyzwań polskiej edukacji. Autorka artykułu ukazuje również arteterapię jako dziedzinę mającą wiele związków z przyrodą i środowiskiem naturalnym, będącą niejako swoistą nicią porozumienia łączącą współczesnego człowieka ze światem natury.
