W opracowaniu przedstawiono aspekty prawne i społeczne waloryzacji świadczeń w Polsce i innych współczesnych systemach zabezpieczenia społecznego. Zwrócono uwagę na problemy, które wynikają z przyjętych zasad waloryzacji, w tym konieczność badania i monitorowania ich skutków w zakresie gwarancji minimalnych dochodów osób uprawnionych do tych świadczeń.

The work presents the legal and social aspects of social insurance benefit indexation in Poland and other contemporary social insurance systems. Attention is drawn to the problems which arise from the principles of indexation adopted, including the need to research and monitor their effects in guaranteeing the minimum of incomes to those entitled to these benefits.
