Głównym celem artykułu jest dokonanie przeglądu dzieł kultury traktujących Evitę jako główny temat zainteresowań. Pokazanie Evy Perón jako bohaterki powieści, filmów czy poezji służy sformułowaniu oraz potwierdzeniu tezy o narastaniu mitu wokół jej osoby. Zestawienie ze sobą utworów powstałych na przestrzeni ponad pół wieku pozwala na prześledzenie zmieniających się w czasie wizji dotyczących argentyńskiej prezydentowej. Autorów zajmujących się Evitą można podzielić na kilka grup: jedni są jej bezwzględnymi krytykami, drudzy zagorzałymi zwolennikami, inni natomiast starają się być obiektywni. Czarny oraz złoty (nazywany też białym) mit ścierają się ze sobą wśród twórców z różnych krajów, żyjących w różnych czasach i mających zupełnie czasem odmienne światopoglądy. Bez wątpienia do najważniejszych tekstów na temat pierwszej damy peronizmu należą te, które wyszły spod pióra Borgesa, Cortazara, Martineza czy Walsha, obok nich znajdą się jednak nie mniej ciekawe prace innych artystów. Każdy z przywoływanych w artykule tytułów jest dowodem na to, że legenda narosła wokół Evity sprawiła, że z pamięci społeczeństwa zniknęła już historyczna postać Eva Perón, stale jednak obecna jest mityczna Evita: błogosławiona ostoja ubogich i cierpiących albo zawistna egoistka walcząca o pieniądze i sławę. Liderka peronizmu stała się mitem.

The main aim of this article is to gather works of art which consider Evita an inspiration. Showing Eva Perón as a crucial character of novels, films or poems allows me to propose a thesis about the growing myth of this person. The comparison between texts created during over fifty years is a great opportunity to trace evolving pictures of the Argentina’s first lady. The authors interested in Evita could be divided into the following groups: some of them are ruthless critics, others are devoted supporters and the last ones are trying to be objective. The black and the gold (sometimes called the white one) myth are represented by artists from distinct countries, artists who were leaving in different times and – very often – with the completely different outlook. Obviously, there were the works of Borges, Cortázar, Martínez and Walsh about the first lady of peronism considered the most relevant, but right next to them there are also other, equally interesting, publications. Every work mentioned in this article is a proof that the legend focused on Evita in memory of a society as a historical figure named Eva Perón no longer exists. It was replaced by the myth of Evita: blessed shelter for poor and sufferers or envious egoist caring only about money and fame. The leader of peronism was turned into a myth.
