W artykule przedstawiono problematykę oceniania w pracy zawodowej bibliotekarzy. Wskazano na istotne aspekty w zarządzaniu procesami pracy (do których zaliczono m.in. kształtowanie oceny własnej). Zwrócono uwagę na narzędzia, które mogą wspomagać zarządzanie kadrami w bibliotece, jak np. benchmarking personalny. Podejmowane zagadnienia opisano z uwzględnieniem specyfiki pracy bibliotecznej, w aspekcie psychologicznym i zarządczym.
