Research on the adulthood of people with disabilities is still scarce. In the article the results of a qualitative research project involving the use of three individual, indepth semistructured interviews and a narrative analysis approach are presented. The authors show the everyday life of adults with disabilities, which is not thrown into the scheme, because it distances itself from stereotypes. Positive self-perception of these people – depicted in narratives – is visible in their perception of adulthood, which is implemented in the same way as in the case of the able-bodied, so that’s the adulthood with prospects of self-realization. Difficulties implied by disability become insignificant.

The process of closing the Polish specialization at the University of Barcelona began in 2013. As a consequence, the over thirty-year-long history of its existence at this university is coming to its end. The first Polish language courses were part of the elective teaching offer of the Slavic specialization; next they became a compulsory part of Slavic Philology, and in 2009 Polish specialization was created as part of a degree Modern Languages and Literatures. In their article, Agnieszka Mejnartowicz and Pau Freixa Terradas present the outstanding creators of the Barcelona center and the research fields they have developed within the framework of the literature and linguistic specialization. They discuss the current functioning of the center at the “new” philology department of the University of Barcelona, transformed in 2019 into the Faculty of Philology and Communication. In the final part of the article, they share their reflections on the perspectives for the development of Polish language and research programs in the context of the reform of the structure of philological studies in Spain.

W roku 2013 rozpoczął się proces zamykania specjalizacji polonistycznej na Uniwersytecie Barcelońskim. Tym samym kończy się ponad trzydziestoletnia historia jej istnienia na uczelni. Pierwsze lektoraty języka polskiego były przedmiotami fakultatywnymi, nauczanymi w ramach specjalizacji slawistycznej, później uzyskały status obowiązkowych w programie kształcenia obowiązującym na filologii słowiańskiej, a następnie w roku 2009 polonistyka stała się osobną specjalizacją oferowaną na kierunku języki i literatury współczesne. W naszym artykule przedstawiamy wybitnych twórców barcelońskiego ośrodka polonistycznego oraz rozwijane przez nich badania literaturoznawcze i językoznawcze. Omawiamy aktualne funkcjonowanie ośrodka na powstałym w roku 2019 „nowym” Wydziale Filologii i Komunikacji. W części końcowej referatu dzielimy się refleksjami dotyczącymi perspektyw rozwoju studiów i badań polonistycznych w kontekście reformy struktury studiów filologicznych w Hiszpanii.

The article is devoted to the analysis of the problems, contradictions and prospects of contemporary dance education in American school. The origins of dance perception as a cultural phenomenon in the history of human culture at various stages of its development are found. It is proved that dance is an important element of the culture of different regions of the world from ancient times to the present. The authors determined and characterized various conceptual approaches to teaching dance in modern American schools, particularly for dance education as part of art education or as part of physical education. It was found out that within any of these approaches dance did not traditionally occupied a worthy place in the curricula of primary and secondary school. The contradictions and prospects of finding “real” identity of dance in education were determined. The historical origin of dance education in the United States and the role of Denishawn School in American tradition of teaching dance are outlined. Research results on the role of dance education in the personality development (theory of multiple intelligence, theories of learning motivation, theories of creative skills development etc.) are systematized. The overview of educational and non-educational factors influencing the legitimization of dance education curriculum K12 is made: the presence of supporters and enthusiasts of dance education among teachers, school administrators’ efforts, support of parental community. The authors outlined objectives and content of the US standards of dance education K-12 ARTS, and their impact on innovative development of dance education in American schools. It was proved that the legitimization of dance in school education through the adoption of national standards K-12 ARTS made a positive impact on its innovative development.

Prowadzenie gospodarstwa agroturystycznego ma nietypowy, oryginalny charakter, co wynika ze specyfiki prowadzenia gospodarstwa rolnego. Oczekiwania kwaterobiorców przyjeżdżających na wieś są różne. Jedni preferują kulturę regionu, kontakt z przyrodą, inni poznanie tradycji czy pracy na roli. Celem artykułu była ocena stanu rozwoju agroturystyki w kontekście nowych trendów i rozwiązań w krajach UE. Autorki przyjęły założenie, że agroturystyka jest formą wypoczynku, która na rynku turystycznym ma charakter niszowy. Gospodarstwa agroturystyczne w Polsce funkcjonują w przestarzałym modelu rozwoju. Stąd bierze się pilna potrzeba wprowadzenia nowego modelu rozwoju agroturystyki do funkcjonowania gospodarstw agroturystycznych.

Running agrotourism farm has an unusual, original character, which comes from specificity of running farmstead. Expectations of guests coming to countryside are different. Some prefer regional culture, others contact with nature, getting to know local traditions or working on a farm. The goal of the article was to evaluate the state of development of agrotourism in contest of new trends and solutions in EU countries. Authors have taken an assumption that agrotourism is a form of relaxation which has a niche character on touristic market. Agrotourism farms in Poland function in old model of development. This is why there is a great need to introduce new model of agrotourism development into functioning of agrotourism farms.

The key concepts related to the essence of subject are presented in this article. Authors describe essence of international economic organizations and its categorization. Besides they explain the concept of International Economic Organizations functioning efficiency. The results of some aspects of analysis of International Economic Organizations functioning efficiency in the case of Poland’s’ membership in WTO are showed. Some prognoses of International Economic Organizations activity are made.
