Artykuł podejmuje problematykę rodziny w ramach tzw. perspektywy kulturoznawczej. Kulturoznawczy punkt widzenia wyraża się w uznawaniu przejawów badanej rzeczywistości za pochodne kultury. Istotą refleksji kulturoznawczej jest próba uchwycenia przedmiotu badań przez pryzmat różnorodnych dziedzin i instytucji kultury. W tym artykule ramy perspektywy kulturoznawczej wyznacza społeczno-regulacyjna koncepcja kultury Jerzego Kmity. Analizy przeprowadzane w artykule mają charakter teoretyczny. Ich przedmiotem są wybrane koncepcje uwzględniające problematykę rodziny z zakresu psychologii, socjologii i antropologii kulturowej.

The article addresses the issue of family viewed through the so called cultural studies perspective. The cultural studies point of view is expressed by regarding the representations of the examined reality as the reflection of culture. An attempt to grasp the object of the study from the angle of various disciplines and institutions of culture is the essential part of the cultural studies reflection. The scope of cultural perspective is determined in this article by the social-regulational concept of culture advanced by Jerzy Kmita. The analyses performed in the article are of purely theoretical nature. They deal with the selected concepts which take into account psychological, sociological and cultural anthropology issues related to family.
