Potrzeba programowania języka polskiego dzieci dwujęzycznych w świetle badań włoskich

Badania z udziałem dzieci dwujęzycznych, prowadzone w różnych ośrodkach naukowych na świecie, wykazują słabsze kompetencje językowe u większości tych dzieci w języku mniejszości (języku etnicznym ich rodziców/rodzica). Niski poziom polskiego systemu językowego wykazały badania dzieci we Włoszech, dla których język polski jest językiem odziedziczonym. W związku z tym, że język mniejszości etnicznej w warunkach migracji jest zagrożony, co może negatywnie wpłynąć na rozwój dziecka, autorki artykuły widzą dużą potrzebę programowanej stymulacji językowej, której powinni podjąć się rodzice dzieci dwujęzycznych. Choć warunki naturalne są najlepsze dla dwujęzycznego rozwoju mowy, w sytuacji migracji nie wystarczają.

Research involving bilingual children, conducted around the world, show less language competence of these children in minority language (their parents’ ethnic language). The low level of the Polish language system has demonstrated studies involving children in Italy, for which the Polish language is the heritage language. Because the language of ethnic minorities in the context of migration is at risk, which may adversely affect the development of the child, authors of the article see a great need for programmable language stimulation that bilingual children’s parents should take. Although natural conditions are best for bilingual speech development bu not sufficient in the current context of increased mobility and migration.
