The article contains an outline of the concept of the social state, based on political personalism. Its theses are derived from historical, cultural and religious conditions of Poland, which have strong links with classical European philosophical thought in shaping intellectual ideas about politics.

The paper attempts to demonstrate that an upstanding and just state cannot be built exclusively upon the codified law. State and law ought to emerge from a universally accepted tradition and human morality. Personalists believe that morality in politics stems from Chritianity, and that it constitutes a significant argument for a bright future of state and nation.

W artykule starano się wykazać, że dobrego, sprawiedliwego państwa nie da się zbudować, wyłącznie opierając się na prawie stanowionym. Państwo i prawo winny wyrastać z powszechnie akceptowanej tradycji i moralności ogólnoludzkiej. Dla personalistów moralność w polityce wyrasta z religii chrześcijańskiej i jest istotnym argumentem wielkiej przyszłości państwa i narodu.
