The article is an attempt to describe new ways of presentation of religious texts to young Christians. Because of the crisis of religious language, alternative means of communication had to be developed. Young Christians often lack skills to understand religious texts in their original form, making the communication between the writer and the recipient difficult. This situation has lead to the increasing usage of modem media, such as SMS or e-mail, to communicate religious thoughts. The language used has also been modernised by the application of new concepts such as the natural semantic language or by writing texts in slang. It is possible to conclude that young Christians did not loose the skills essential for understanding religious texts in the traditional form, but they rather never had them in the first place. The point is to help young readers acquire these skills.
