The paper concerns an important question of fostering patriotic and defensive attitudes among young people. A new generation growing up in times of wellbeing and among the most advanced technologies, focusing on gadgets such as smartphones, tablets or headphones, lives in a virtual world in which a patriotic and defensive attitude is an abstraction. However, the process of fostering such an attitude is extremely important and it needs to be paid special attention to since it indirectly influences a state’s defence capability and, in turn, its independence, territorial integrity, sovereignty, as well as an individual’s freedom, human rights or national heritage. The purpose of this paper is to emphasise that the fostering of patriotic and defensive attitudes among young people is an important factor influencing a state’s defence capability. A common realization of this fact is especially important since the period of multiannual peace, the possession of the trained and wellequipped professional Armed Forces, the membership in NATO, and the lack of direct military threats might bring about doubtfulness as to the need to have defence education or to foster patriotic and defensive attitudes among young people. The purpose of the paper is to popularise patriotic values and to reinforce the feeling and conviction among young people that the responsibility of every Polish citizen is the allegiance to the Republic of Poland and the care of Poland’s common good. Therefore, every Pole should be aware of that, and he or she should share the responsibility with other Poles for the future of their own country and nation. The paper aims to draw the reader’s attention to the fact that highlymotivated and patriotically aware young people can influence their country’s defence capability by means of their own attitudes and conduct.
About 40 % Polish populations live on rural areas. There are not enough people who succeed, who are competitive or who want to do something new. After the Second World War wrong politics stopped the development of rural areas in Poland. John Paul II said: „In order to achieve the whole humanity, each person should go beyond the limits”. We need to know if we want to work for others or for ourselves. There is economic and social diversification on rural areas. The main reasons of many difficulties are: the lack of investment, the weak education, problems with infrastructure and lack of willingness among people. The opportunities of the development in the country depend on people and funds, especially, on a good communication between people and a person who is considered to be a leader. SWOT lets us achieve our aims concerning the strategy of development in the best manner. It is important to give chances of establishing other forms of activity in the agriculture. Young people are not skilled and they do not believe in their abilities. In addition, they do not accept new ideas or they can not work in team. The crisis and the unemployment became grievous to young people who tend to go abroad in a search of job. Each society and country should try to contribute to the development of rural areas by encouraging people to run a business, craft, trade and a modern agriculture. The youth expects interesting projects, educational seminars and other ways of overcoming, for instance, shyness. The most important subject is a man who has a lot of ideas, courage and wisdom. Each person is able to change weaknesses into chances and can face the people who tend to doubt or not believe. We must promote great values and people who are highly skilled and experienced.
The goal of this article is to take into consideration the role of the basis of entrepreneurship in the educational system. Author gives particular attention to EU educational strategy, which presumes the entrepreneurship is essential skill for young people to function in the knowledge society and on new job markets. The necessity of promoting the view that the entrepreneurship prepares for self-employment was indicated in European field of education. The entrepreneurship is one of five key subjects, by which European educational system, related to EU project on employment and unemployment, is implemented. Furthermore author presents how important the subject is for the personal and social development of students.
Among other things education is understood as support of certain individual character traits, e.g. the qualities of a man with self-initiative. It doesn’t confine itself to any single action but this is a long process with which should already be started in the youngest years of the life. To obtain an effective support of the self-initiative at high schools trainees, the present general educational system needs either several organizational modifications or modifications of the teaching contents. These refer essentially:. -the teaching programs and their contents. - the principles and the form of the cooperation of the school with the local authority. --the permanent dilatation of the didactic-educational competences of the teachers in the context of further vocational educations. The specific training in a certain subject should be completed by interdisciplinary trainee projects. The further vocational education of the teachers should take into account the development of the ability to give structured lessons and to better combine the theoretical and practical contents with each other. Furthermore the teachers should be taught how to motivate the trainees for more ownly project drafts and their execution and how the representatives of local authorities should be included in the construction of additional contents of the teaching programs.
This article tries to give the answers to the questions: Who are the students of upper secondary schools for adults? Why they receive education in this type of schools? What is their level of activity in the job market? What are their attitudes toward the job market? Is there any territorial diversification in the attitudes toward job market? What influence it? The success in the job market depends on a lot of factors. The most important factor is intellectual inborn potential and influence of environment especially schools on individual person. Schools should form the enterprise attitudes by the lessons on entrepreneurship. This type of education unfortunately doesn’t function in the job market and hasn’t got such a chance. The public feelings, mentality and positive relations between government and businessmen are the most important factors which influence activity in the job market, as research on students of upper secondary schools for adults shows. It was conducted in cities known of their entrepreneurship . Kołobrzeg, Chojnice, Starogard Gdański and Koszalin. It seems the institutional and personal models influence students and local communities. The results of research show certain regularity. The enterprised attitudes depend not only on hard economical factors but also and maybe mostly on social and psychological factors.

Attitudes towards people with disabilities are a common topic of research. In this article the author focuses on the possibilities of shaping positive attitudes towards disabled people through contact with works of art. Education through art was handled as a tool to work with students who have a chance to change their perception of disability by stereotypes.
Te ostatnie zaś dają możliwość zidentyfikowania postaw i ról odbiorczych, jakie nastoletni czytelnicy bądź to przyjmują, bądź to chcieliby przyjąć w trakcie obcowania z literaturą.
Twierdzenia dotyczyły pięciu obszarów kształcenia uczniów zdolnych: ustosunkowanie nauczycieli do kwestii doboru/selekcji uczniów według zdolności, identyfikacji, wsparcia szkolnego, wsparcia pozaszkolnego, własnych kompetencji. Porównano wypowiedzi nauczycieli edukacji wczesnoszkolnej (NEW, N = 37) oraz nauczycieli klas starszych (NKS, N = 69). Różnice w opiniach obu badanych grup potwierdzają, że nauczyciele uczniów młodszych i starszych reprezentują nieco odmienne podejście do kształcenia osób zdolnych.
Research on the attitudes towards disabilities has a long tradition, but it requires constant replication due to the frequent changes in the living conditions and the educational system. In recent years in Poland, such research was carried out mainly on a college level (Bi-ernat, 2014; Urbanski, Glapa, Śleboda, 2014) and it was not related to any specific disability. In this study, however, there has been an attempt to find an answer to the question: what are the attitudes of the students at a third grade of elementary school level to motor and auditory dis¬abilities of their peers. Participants were randomly selected from third grade primary schools: regular (n = 20) and integration (n = 20).In order to measure the pupils’ attitudes we have used a questionnaire, designed for the study, on the basis of a three-component model of attitudes prepared separately for each type of disability. The comparison of the results of these general attitudes and their components: cognitive, emotional and behavioural showed no significant differences between the groups, both with physical and auditory disabilities. Children from the regular schools presented positive at¬titudes towards people with disabilities just as their peers from the integration schools, which could mean that prior contact, with respect to the declared attitude towards disability is not limited to the type of school anymore. The explanation for the lack of differences between groups can be found in the educational and systemic changes, involving the inclusion of children and adults with various disabilities in a number of areas of life activity as well as the presence of ethical education in the curriculum of primary schools.

Natomiast przyjęty punkt odcięcia pozwolił na wyodrębnienie trzech relatywnie jednorodnych grup – segmentów użytkowników bankowości elektronicznej: młodych entuzjastów (46,7%), ostrożnych pragmatyków (39,3%) i nieufnych nieświadomych (14%).
Badania empiryczne wykonano w uczelniach czterech krajów V4: w Polsce (w Katowicach), Czechach (w Ołomuńcu i Ostrawie), Słowacji (w Nitrze), na Węgrzech (w Godollo), w ramach grantu wyszehradzkiego.
W artykule przeprowadzono analizę wyników badań sondażowych dotyczących postaw Polaków wobec zjawiska komercyjnego wykorzystywania seksualnego dzieci i młodzieży, przeprowadzonych w latach 2011 i 2014.

This paper presents the results of two waves of survey on the attitudes of Poles towards the commercial sexual exploitation of children and young people, carried out in 2011 and 2014. Over the analyzed years, there were no significant changes in this area. All the analyzed forms of exploitation: pocket money prostitution, commercial cybersex, transactional sex and prostitution to survive received a highly negative assessment – in both waves of the study, these phenomena were assessed extremely negatively by at least 73% of the respondents. At the same time, more than half of Poles believe that these issues are real problems that affect many people. According to 49% of Poles there are groups of children with a higher risk in engaging in such activities. In the opinion of the respondents, those groups are mainly children and adolescents: from pathological families, poor families and families, in which parents do not have time for their children.
Multiple concepts and approaches regarding disability have been created throughout the centuries, which is reflected in different fields of study such as philosophy, medicine, pedagogy, sociology, political science, theology, and psychology. It can be assumed that the development of these disciplines has laid the foundation of the concept of disability, thus creating the model of perceiving this condition. It is every human’s responsibility to make progress through the fulfillment of their life tasks and social roles in accordance with the legal and social standards. In this regard, a question arises on the extent to which a person’s disability affects the quality of their life. The life quality of disabled people is typically impacted by numerous factors. Next to parameters such as physical health, mental health, or functional factors, it is also influenced by a variety of micro-social and macro-social aspects, including the family situation of a disabled person, the economic situation in their home country, the existing legal regulations, and the specific social policies. Furthermore, the prevalent social attitudes toward the disabled are an equally important determinant of the quality of their life. People with disabilities are equal members of society and deserve to be fully included. However, suitable conditions need to be created to provide them with the hope for a dignified life and efforts need to be made to support them
