Uwarunkowania i kierunki rozwoju rynku zbiorowego transportu miejskiego

Problematyka rozwoju i funkcjonowania zbiorowego transportu miejskiego jest zagadnieniem bieżącym i istotnym dla usprawnienia funkcjonowania współczesnych ośrodków miejskich. W artykule przedstawiono uwarunkowania i potencjalne kierunki rozwoju rynku zbiorowego transportu miejskiego. Zdefiniowano pojęcie rynku zbiorowego transportu miejskiego oraz opisano specyfikę jego funkcjonowania. Omówiono procesy przeobrażeń układu przestrzennego miast, które determinują zasięg przestrzenny zbiorowego transportu miejskiego oraz możliwości jego rozwoju. Scharakteryzowano potrzeby transportowe ludności oraz zależności wynikające z dynamicznego rozwoju motoryzacji indywidualnej. Zdefiniowano zjawisko kongestii oraz przedstawiono negatywny wpływ rozwoju motoryzacji indywidualnej na rozwój i funkcjonowanie transportu zbiorowego. Ostatnią część pracy poświęcono możliwościom wdrożenia usprawnień w funkcjonowaniu zbiorowego transportu miejskiego i głównym celom lokalnej polityki transportowej.

Sustainable urban operation and development require effective planning of urban logistic systems. Cities are composed of a few subsystems: transport, communication, production, sales and organizational. Innovations in transport and changes in organizing transport processes of goods and passengers in the cities, require proper planning of urban logistic system, using the results of research on transport needs, behavior and preferences of inhabitants of cities, enterprises, institutions and others. This article is devoted to the scope of research, methods and instruments, that are used on their implementation.
