Opracowanie dotyczy roli kształcenia przyszłych architektów, ich świadomości i kompetencji plastycznych w odniesieniu do idei i rozwiązań edukacyjnych Bauhausu. Mimo upływu 100 lat od założenia tej artystycznej szkoły i tylko 14 lat jej działalności, w procesach kształcenia prowadzonych przez szkoły artystyczne na całym świecie można odnaleźć ciągle aktualne elementy idei sformułowanych przez W. Gropiusa. Odnoszą się one do koncepcji jedności wszystkich sztuk, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem architektury oraz metody kształcenia prowadzącej do pobudzenia i rozwoju u studiujących ich twórczych możliwości. Opracowanie zawiera omówienie jednego z elementów podstawowej edukacji plastycznej na Wydziale Architektury Politechniki Wrocławskiej, jakim są praktyki rysunkowo-malarskie. Omawiane jest ich szczególne znaczenie w przygotowaniu studiujących do samodzielnego projektowania poprzez rozwijanie ich twórczej wyobraźni. Istotną rolę odgrywa w tych procesach tak bardzo podkreślany przez Bauhaus bezpośredni kontakt z elementami otoczenia oraz opanowanie podstaw postrzegania przestrzeni, a także sposobów jej zapisu w plenerowych warunkach zintensyfikowanego procesu kształcenia.

The study concerns the role of educating future architects, their awareness and artistic competences in relation to the ideas and educational solutions of the Bauhaus. Despite the fact that 100 years have passed since this artistic school foundation and there were only 14 years of its activity, we can still find current elements of the ideas formulated by W. Gropius in the educational processes conducted by art schools all over the world. They refer to the concept of unity of all arts with particular emphasis on architecture and the method of education leading to stimulation and development of creative possibilities in students. The study discusses one of the elements of basic art education at the Faculty of Architecture of Wrocław University of Science and Technology, which are drawing and painting practices. Their special importance in preparing students for independent design by developing their creative imagination is discussed. An important role in these processes is performed by the direct contact with elements of the environment, emphasized by the Bauhaus, and the mastery of the basics of perception of space as well as the methods of its recording in the plein air conditions of an intensified educational process.
