Capability analysis is a set of calculations used to assess whether a system is statistically able to meet a set of specifications or requirements. The use of capability indices is widespread in industry. Process capability analysis is used during the introduction stage of the process and during the process. It is presented classical process capability indices and original analysis conducted by prof. Andrzej Iwasiewicz. There is also presented process capability analysis of attribute data and new process capability indices of attribute data.

Omówiono znaczenie, zadania i cele analizy zdolności procesu. Przedstawiono klasyczne oraz rozbudowane podejście do analizy zdolności procesu. Zaprezentowano sposób wyznaczania zdolności za pomocą procedury zaproponowanej przez prof. A. Iwasiewicza. Przedstawiono analizę zdolności dla danych przy alternatywnej ocenie właściwości oraz zaproponowano wskaźnik zdolności dla alternatywnej oceny właściwości.
