Dialog Motywujący jako metoda działania we wczesnej interwencji profilaktycznej

Na podstawie programu wczesnej interwencji „FreD goes net” w artykule opisano metodę Dialogu Motywującego wykorzystywaną w pracy z młodzieżą wykazującą zachowania ryzykowne. Zostały zaprezentowane założenia teoretyczne, zasady i metody pracy. Autor publikacji zwraca uwagę na charakterystyczne cechy młodych ludzi w okresie dorastania i łączy je z konkretnym oddziaływaniem mającym na celu zmianę niepożądanych zachowań. Artykuł zawiera również przegląd badań dotyczących zastosowania DM w pracy z adolescentami. Badacze są zgodni co do tego, że wiele elementów DM takich jak umiejętne stosowanie technik, używanie języka zmiany, empatyczne reagowanie zgodnie z filozofią i zasadami DM jest obiecującą metodą w pracy z młodzieżą nad zmianą ryzykownych zachowań. Jednocześnie wskazują na konieczność dalszych badań.

On the basis of the early intervention program FreD goes net the article describes the method of Motivational Interviewing used in work with adolescents showing risky behaviors. Theoretical assumptions, principles and working methods have been presented. The author of the publication draws attention to the characteristic features of young people during adolescence and combines them with a specific impact aimed at changing unwanted behaviors. The article also contains a review of research on the use of MI in work with adolescents. Researchers agree that many elements of MI such as skillful use of techniques, use of the language of change, empathic reaction in accordance with the philosophy and principles of MI is a promising method in working with youth on the change of risky behaviors. At the same time, they indicate the need for further research.
