Profile obrazu pojęcia "wiara w Boga" w języku współczesnych Polaków w świetle badań ankietowych oraz wywiadów

W artykule mowa jest o postrzeganiu oraz rozumieniu pojęcia wiara w Boga przez współcześnie żyjących wierzących Polaków. Na podstawie ankiet oraz wywiadów usiłuję odkryć dominujące profile semantyczne ujawniające obrazowanie w języku omawianego pojęcia. Moim zamiarem jest zbadanie potocznego obrazu wiary w Boga wśród osób reprezentujących różne odłamy chrześcijaństwa. W tym celu stosuję narzędzia wypracowane na gruncie polskiej etnolingwistyki, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem kwestii profilowania pojęć. Jest to przydatne narzędzie językoznawcze, które umożliwia organizację różnych aspektów pojęcia w ramach jednej definicji.

The paper explores various ways of perceiving and understanding the notion of faith in God among contemporary Polish believers. Based on the data collected from questionnaires and interviews I try to uncover the dominant profiles of the construal of faith in the language. My intention is to study folk and colloquial images of faith among Christians representing different denominations. With this in mind, I use ethnolinguistic methodology, specifically the notion of a semantic profile which enables us to notice and organize various shades of meanings of a concept within the limits of its definition.
