The purpose of the study was to investigate what psychological variables contribute to the prediction of reducing overweight in women. 78 women with overweight (M of BMI = 31.27), aged 35–55 years (M of age = 46.8); were examined twice, before and after the programme of reducing overweight based on psychological actions. Eight methods were used in the study: Stress Perceived Scale, Coping Inventory for Stressful Situations, Generalized Self-Efficacy Scale, Rosenberg’s Self-Esteem Scale, Life Orientation Test, Multidimensional Health Locus of Control Scale, State-Trait Personality and Kuhl’s Action Control Scale. Self-efficacy beliefs, perceiving stress, coping with stress (task and avoidance oriented strategies) and optimism appeared predictors of reducing overweight in women.

Electronic aggression, a phenomenon currently taking place among young people, poses difficult tasks for teachers. They relate to primary, secondary and tertiary prevention in theschool environment and require the cooperation of headmasters, teachers and parents. The analyses undertaken in the study present the specificity of the activities of the religious education teacher aimed at preventing aggression among young people. Firstly, the scope of meaning of ‘electronic aggression’ has been given. Next, the multidimensionality of electronic aggression among the young has been pointed out. In this context, preventive measures taken by the religious education teacher in the school environment have been described. Aims, tasks and rules, as well as forms, methods and means necessary for the prevention of electronic aggression among young people have been brought to attention. The cooperation of the religious education teacher with the headmaster, parents and other teachers in carrying out the tasks set by the school prevention programme has been considered significant.

The article aims to examine the way in which selected variation techniques are used in Maria Szymanowska’s Nocturne in B-flat Major, with the focus on both conventional thematic modifications and collage-like transformation of shorter motifs. By comparing the work to selected pieces by John Field and placing it within appropriate historical contexts, the author seeks to illustrate how such an approach to variation not only enriches the conventional form of the nocturne as a genre, but also highlights the possibility of programmatic intent being present.

The author presents the effects of therapy of people taking part in specialist therapeutic holiday for those who stammer, which constitute a coherent system of therapeutic activities performed in accordance with the assumptions of “The Modified Programme of Psychophysiological Therapy of Stammering People” by dr M. Chęciek. The material contains the results of diagnoses (preliminary and final) of the Level of Logophobia and the Frequency level of stammering by adult participants of the holiday XI/XII 2008, VIII 2009, XI/XII 2009.

The article focuses on the programme for high schools. It consists of four parts. In the first part it draws attention to the existing relation between the knowledge of truths about the Holy Spirit and respect for the sacrament of Confirmation. In the second part – the presence of truths about the Holy Spirit are portrayed. The third part contains discussion of the truths present in the Programme. The theme of the fourth part is the next three truths that should be known by the students who are receiving the sacrament of Confirmation.

The current paper aims to outline the potential and most important aspects of the Strategic Environmental Assessment process (directive 2001/42/EC). First of all, the analysis considers the importance of evaluation instruments in decision-making processes and moves on to environmental assessment, focusing on the peculiarities of Strategic Environmental Assessment. Although SEA is an innovative instrument in favouring and promoting a democratic approach to the government and development of the territory, it nonetheless presents a series of problems. The latter regard aspects such as: its integration into planning and programming activities, its role within these processes, the methodologies applied, stakeholder involvement, the quality of the assessment process and the how the suggestions are perceived and acknowledged.

Krajowy Program Rozwoju Ekonomii Społecznej został przyjęty w 2014 r. Miał stać się wyznacznikiem kierunków interwencji publicznej oraz przyczynić się do rozwoju ekonomii społecznej. Przyjęte ramy gwarantowały spójność realizowanych działań na wszystkich poziomach. W artykule omówiono proces powstawania KPRES, jego założenia, rolę regionów w jego realizacji oraz odbiór w środowisku. Jest on też próbą ustalenia, czy Program jako dokument strategiczny ma szansę wpłynąć na rozwój ekonomii społecznej. Wszystkie przewidziane w nim działania są spójne, logicznie powiązane oraz uwzględniają rolę regionów w rozwoju ES. Jednakże, na podstawie rozbieżności między nim a innymi programami (RPO) można zauważyć, iż nie wszystkie jego zapisy są wdrażane, szczególnie w regionach. O ile województwa zaktualizowały regionalne programy ES czy powołały regionalne komitety, o tyle były problemy z akredytacją OWES czy z ustaleniem liczby miejsc pracy, które mają być utworzone w PS. To pokazuje, iż KPRES prawdopodobnie nie jest postrzegany jako istotny dokument poza środowiskiem ekonomii społecznej.

The National Programme for Social Economy Development (KPRES) was adopted in 2014. It was supposed to become a determinant of directions of public intervention and contribute to the development of the social economy. The adopted framework has ensured the consistency of the activities carried out at all levels. This article discusses the process of establishing the KPRES, its assumptions, the role of the regions in its implementation and its reception in the environment. It is also an attempt to determine whether the Program as a strategic document has the potential to influence the development of the social economy. All of the measures envisaged in it are coherent, logically linked, and take into account the role of regions in development of social economy. However, on the basis of the discrepancy between it and other regional programs, it is noted that not all of its provisions are implemented, especially in the regions. While voivodships have updated regional social economy programs or set up regional committees, there have been problems with accrediting OWES or establishing the number of jobs to be created in PS. This shows that KPRES is probably not perceived as an important document outside the social economy.

Abstract The review is about the preschool education program by Edmund Bojanowski, who devoted himself to post-epidemic orphans, establishing for them a shelter, the so-called "Institute" or "House of Mercy". He also took care of other rural children, organizing nurseries for them. He based his upbringing on the rich traditions of the Polish countryside, its spiritual wealth, relationships with the earth and agricultural activities. As a reliable means of education considered the nature, religion and history, which were to intertwine into a harmonious synthesis of work, love for God and neighbor, and practical love for the polish land and culture. Streszczenie Recenzja dotyczy programu wychowania przedszkolnego Edmunda Bojanowskiego, który poświęcił się poepidemicznym sierotom, zakładając dla nich przytułek, tzw. „Instytut” lub „Dom Miłosierdzia”. Troską wychowawczą objął także inne dzieci wiejskie, organizując dla nich ochronki. Wychowanie oparł na bogatych tradycjach polskiej wsi, jej duchowym bogactwie, związkach z ziemią i zajęciami rolniczymi. Jako niezawodne środki wychowania uznał naturę, religię i historię, które miały splatać się w harmonijną syntezę pracy, miłości Boga i bliźniego oraz praktycznego umiłowania ziemi i kultury polskiej. Millennium of the Polish State was one of the greatest media campaign in the Polish People’s Republic. The main goal of this paper is to show the content of such programmes in the regional public broadcasting station-Polish Radio Olsztyn. The wide context of this issue based on the content of the radio programme is to be shown.

The article describes those stylistic characteristics of the programmes of marginal political parties (the contemporary ones), which make the senders claim certain roles (either intentionally or nonintentionally). The figure of an “Expert” is achieved by the use of language typical for economics and science. A “Sage” is created in written texts by the language of philosophical treatises and religious sermons. The figure of a “Commander” emerges from the texts written in the style similar to official language, military language or the language of statutes. The role of a “Bard” is performed when a politician uses aphorisms or the texts resembling literary works. The creation of a “Grandfather” is present in a tale, where the basic truths are described.

W Unii Europejskiej zastosowanie miał zarówno proces planowania, jak i programowania. W ostatnich latach programowanie stało się podstawowym narzędziem konstruowania ładu rozwojowego państw członkowskich, szczególnie w ramach polityki strukturalnej. Poszczególne kraje, korzystające ze środków pomocowych wspólnoty, zobligowane są do uruchamiania programowania rozwoju opartego na standardach unijnych. Poszczególne rozwiązania organizacyjne, na poziomie kraju i danego okresu programowania, różnią się między sobą. Poprzez korzystanie z najlepszych efektów zastosowanych rozwiązań, w kolejnych latach dochodzi do ich ujednolicania. Programowanie Funduszy Strukturalnych zainicjowane zostało reformą przeprowadzoną w 1988 roku i odbywa się od tego czasu w sposób zintegrowany dla wszystkich funduszy oraz ma charakter wieloletni. W opracowaniu przedstawiono wymagania metodyczne stawiane przez KE wobec krajów członkowskich w dwóch kolejnych perspektywach finansowych na lata 2000-06 oraz 2007-13. Planowanie dotyczy szerszych zagadnień o charakterze horyzontalnym, obejmuje główne polityki UE tj. m.in. ochrony środowiska, konkurencyjności (zasad udzielania pomocy publicznej), równości płci, zatrudnienia, społeczeństwa informacyjnego, zamówień publicznych oraz gospodarki opartej na wiedzę. Z uwagi na powyższe w opracowaniu przedstawiono przegląd dokumentów planistycznych UE powstałych w ostatnich latach, a tworzących system planistyczny o charakterze horyzontalnym.

In the European Union the process of both planning and programming has been applied. Within the past years programming has become the key instrument of drafting the development guidelines of the member states, notably within the structural policy. Individual countries, making use of the EU’s assistance funds are obliged to launch programming of regional development based on the Union’s standards. Particular organisational solutions concerning a country and a programming period are different from each other. However, by means of making use of the best possible results of the solutions applied, their realignment is achieved within the years. Programming Structural Funds was initiated by the reform enacted in 1998 and since then it has integrated all the funds and is of several years’ character. The research paper presents methodological requirements posed by the European Commission to member countries within two financial periods of 2000-06 and 2007-13. Planning concerns broader issues of horizontal nature, includes major policies of the EU, i.e. environmental protection, information society, public procurement and knowledge-based economy. Given the above the paper presents a review of the EU planning documents developed within recent years and constituting planning system of horizontal character.
