This article in a synthetic form presents the character and intensity of the internationalization process in power sector in a period of the last ten years. The paper describes the main forms and motives of international expansion of enterprises with particular emphasis on the power sector companies. It also describes the evolution of motives and presents the current direction and intensity of the internationalization process in the energy sector in the world.
