W artykule przedstawiono zagadnienia merytoryczno-teoretyczne z obszaru pomocy psychologiczno-pedagogicznej, zadania poradni psychologiczno-pedagogicznej, opinie oraz procedury wsparcia i pomocy w odniesieniu do dzieci wymagających tego typu pomocy. Przedstawiono procedury udzielania pomocy psychologiczno-pedagogicznej. Opisano nauczanie dziecka niepełnosprawnego w ogólnodostępnej szkole, przygotowania szkoły do pracy z uczniami o specjalnych potrzeb edukacyjnych. Scharakteryzowano relacje między uczniami pełno- i niepełnosprawnymi, przedstawiono możliwości i bariery ich integracji. Opisano czynniki, które zapewniają rozwój uczniom o specjalnych potrzebach edukacyjnych.

In the article substantive and theoretical problems from the field of psychological-educational assistance, tasks of psychological-educational centres, opinions and procedures of assistance and support as regards children requiring this kind of support are presented. Procedures of psychological-educational assistance provision are described. Teaching a disabled child in a freely accessible school and preparation of school for work with students with special educational needs are depicted. Relationships between able and disabled students are characterised, possibilities and barriers for integration are presented. The factors ensuring development for students with special educational needs are described.
