In the article author have been presentet threats for security facilities of educational nature. The author draws attention to the possibility of terrorist attacks and analyzes the degree to which these facilities are prepared to react to such specific crisis events. The article is divided into five parts, which are responsible for a comprehensive safety assessment. The topic of crime occurring primarily in primary and lower secondary schools and its impact on the functioning of educational institutions is also discussed.

W artykule zostały zaprezentowane zagrożenia dla bezpieczeństwa placówek oświatowo– wychowawczych. Autor zwraca uwagę na możliwość wystąpienia ataków o charakterze terrorystycznym oraz analizuje stopień przygotowania omawianych placówek na reagowanie w tego typu specyficznych zdarzeń kryzysowych. Artykuł podzielony jest na pięć części, których zadaniem jest dokonanie kompleksowej oceny bezpieczeństwa. Omówiona zostaje także tematyka przestępczości występującej na terenie przede wszystkim szkół podstawowych oraz gimnazjalnych jak i jej wpływu na funkcjonowanie instytucji oświatowych.
