W artykule podjęto próbę odpowiedzi na pytanie, co to jest i jakie są warunki racjonalnej i efektywnej gospodarki zasobami publicznymi, w tym samorządowymi nieruchomościami, a w szczególności na ile sprzyjają jej: sporządzane w jednostkach samorządu terytorialnego (JST) informacje na temat posiadanych przez nie nieruchomości, swoboda działania i samodzielność decyzyjna władz samorządowych, system finansowy i sytuacja finansowa JST oraz sposób zarządzania nieruchomościami.

This paper attempts to answer the question, what is it and what are the conditions for rational and efficient management of public resources, including local government property, in particular, how conducive to it is information about its property prepared by local government units (LGUs), plenty of rope and decision autonomy, local government’s financial system and real estate management.
