Celem pracy jest przedstawienie wpływu nowoczesnych technologii na szeroko rozumianą gospodarkę łowiecką w Polsce i na świecie na przykładzie wybranych krajów. Zaprezentowano różnego rodzaju rozwiązania praktyczne coraz częściej z powodzeniem stosowane w miejsce dotychczasowych (takie jak identyfikacja i znakowanie za pomocą systemów radiotelemetrycznych, GPS, GSM czy też RFID). W pracy jako metodę badawczą zastosowano analizę literaturową oraz badania terenowe przeprowadzone we współpracy ze specjalistami z wiodących ośrodków badawczych w Polsce (m.in. Uniwersytetu Przyrodniczego w Poznaniu, Stacji Badawczej PZŁ Czempiń).

The aim of the paper is to present the impact of state-of-the-art technologies on broadly understood hunting management in Poland and abroad. The study is illustrated with examples from several countries. The author deals with practical solutions increasingly successfully applied in the sustainable hunting industry such as the identification and marking of game with radiotelemetric, RFID, GPS or GSM systems. The paper is based on the analysis of pertinent literature and field research carried out in cooperation with specialists from leading research centers in Poland (e.g. Poznań University of Life Sciences, Research Center in Czempiń).
