W stronę teologii nauki – na kanwie myśli ks. prof. Michała Hellera

This article takes the question of the relationship between science and theology, according to the thought of Fr. M. Heller, and it approaches to such a captivation of both disciplines, in which science becomes the subject of interest for theology. The point of outlet is the reflection on the phenomenon of the rationality of the world. The rationality which presents condition for the natural sciences demands for justification. The theological truth, which can be helpful is the faith in the existence of the Logos; the Divine Wisdom penetrating everything is not only the foundation of the structures of the physical world, but it defines also the existence of the world of the values and the sense. Since God presents the philosophical a priori for each science, the natural sciences can lead a dialogue with theology, or even – what Fr. M. Heller suggests – it is possible to create a program of the theology of science. The aim of this approach is the enrichment of the regard on science by taking into consideration these aspects, which are visible only at use of the theological method.

Artykuł podejmuje zagadnienie relacji nauki do teologii, w oparciu o myśl ks. prof. Michała Hellera, i zmierza ku takiemu ujęciu obydwu dyscyplin, w którym nauka staje się przedmiotem zainteresowania teologii. Punktem wyjścia jest refleksja nad fenomenem racjonalności świata. Racjonalność stanowiąca warunek uprawiania nauk przyrodniczych domaga się usprawiedliwienia. Teologiczną prawdą, która może przyjść z pomocą, jest wiara w istnienie Logosu; Boska Mądrość, przenikając wszystko, nie tylko stanowi fundament struktury świata fizycznego, ale określa również istnienie świata wartości i sensu. Skoro Bóg stanowi filozoficzne a priori każdej z nauk, nauki przyrodnicze mogą prowadzić dialog z teologią, a nawet – co postuluje ks. Michał Heller – możliwe jest stworzenie programu teologii nauki. Celem takiego przedsięwzięcia jest wzbogacenie spojrzenia na naukę przez uwzględnienie tych aspektów, które są widoczne jedynie przy użyciu metody teologicznej.
