The article deals with the decision-making practice of the Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic in case of recusal of judges for bias in the last three years. It analyses a number of motions for disqualification according to individual judges, rate of granted motions and different reasons of recusal (relation to the subject of the proceedings, relation to the parties or their advocates). Based on the analyses of decisions on recusal, the article concludes which circumstances mostly lead to disqualification of the judges of the Constitutional Court and on the other hand which circumstances mostly do not establish doubts about their impartiality.

Článek se zabývá rozhodováním Ústavního soudu o vyloučení svých soudců pro podjatost v letech 2013-2016. Zkoumá počet návrhů na vyloučení z hlediska jednotlivých soudců, úspěšnost těchto návrhů a kvantitativní zastoupení jednotlivých důvodů pro vyloučení soudce (vztah k věci, vztah k účastníkovi řízení, vztah k právnímu zástupci). Na základě analýzy rozhodovací činnosti Ústavního soudu článek formuluje závěry, jaké skutečnosti zpravidla vedou k vyloučení soudce Ústavního soudu pro podjatost a jaké skutečnosti naopak pochybnosti o jeho nestrannosti většinou nezakládají.
