Wobec ujawniających się potrzeb odnowy poszczególnych miast regionu kujawsko-pomorskie przygotowało i obecnie wdraża regionalną politykę rewitalizacji. Mając na względzie zachowanie zintegrowanego, spójnego systemu, zdecydowano się na podejście zmierzające do uruchomienia i kontynuowania procesów rewitalizacyjnych we wszystkich 52 miastach, uwzględniając ich zróżnicowanie. Prócz dotacji położono nacisk na merytoryczne wsparcie miast w opracowywaniu lokalnych programów rewitalizacji poprzez liczne indywidualne konsultacje i spotkania w Forum Rewitalizacji Województwa Kujawsko-Pomorskiego. Region istotnie angażuje się także w ponadregionalne partnerskie przedsięwzięcia odnowy – rewitalizację dróg wodnych.

In view of the regeneration needs of individual cities in the region, Kujawsko- Pomorskie voivodeship prepared and is currently implementing regional revitalization policy. Taking an integrated, coherent system into account, regional authority decided on the approach to start and continue the revitalization process in all 52 cities, concerning their diversity. In addition to grants, regional authority placed significant emphasis on substantive support to cities in formulating local revitalization programmes, through a series of individual consultations and meetings during the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Revitalization Forum. The region is also involved in the trans-regional, partnership regeneration projects – the revitalization of the waterways.
