Apteczny rynek farmaceutyczny, jako rynek regulowany, składa się po stronie popytowej z pacjentów-konsumentów, zaś po stronie podażowej z aptek oferentów. Rozwój popytu na tym rynku jest ściśle moderowany przez lekarzy, dokonujących preskrypcji leków, oraz w jeszcze większym stopniu przez nadzorowany i w znacznej części finansowany przez państwo system ochrony zdrowia. Artykuł prezentuje charakterystykę rynku i jego uczestników w ostatnich latach, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem zmian, które dokonały się w 2012 r., po wprowadzeniu nowych zasad refundacji leków i skutków tego dla konsumentów i oferentów.

The pharmacy pharmaceutical market, being the regulated market, consists on the demand side of patients-consumers and of pharmacies of marketers on the supply side. Demand development in this market is strictly moderated by physicians who prescribe medicines and, still in a greater degree, by the system of health care supervised and considerably financed by the state. In her article, the author presents characteristics of the market and its players in the recent years, with a particular consideration of the changes occurred in 2012, upon introduction of new rules of medicines purchase reimbursement and effects thereof for consumers and marketers.
