W artykule przedstawiono rozważania na temat subiektywnej oceny jakości życia dzieci z chorobą reumatyczną w następujących obszarach: fizycznym, intelektualnym, niezależności w życiu codziennym, społecznym oraz samoopisu. Przede wszystkim podjęto próbę poznania dziecięcych doświadczeń, które odnoszą się do doznawanych trudności spowodowanych chorobą, jak i tego, jakie znaczenia dzieci przypisują swoim ograniczeniom w poszczególnych obszarach życia. Istotne w podjętych badaniach były także kwestie dotyczące tego, jak dzieci postrzegają swoje własne zachowania wobec napotykanych trudności

This article presents deliberations regarding the subjective assessment of the quality of life of children with rheumatic disease in the physical area, the intellectual area, independence in everyday life, in the social area and in a self-report. The main goal was to learn about the children’s experiences regarding the difficulties caused by the disease and the meanings they attribute to their limitations in different areas of life. How the children perceive their own behaviors in the face of difficulties they encounter was also an important issue in the study.
