Celem tego studium jest próba interpretacji ludzkiej emocjonalności w jej uczuciowej formie wyrazu w postaci przeżyć radości i smutku, w świetle założeń jednej ze szkół duchowości chrześcijańskiej, mianowicie tej zaproponowanej przez Ignacego Loyolę (1491-1556). Według tego nurtu życia duchowego, zarówno czerpiącego z wielowiekowego doświadczenia biblijnego i chrześcijańskiego rozumienia emocjonalno -uczuciowego wymiaru naszego życia, jak i wniesionych do niego doświadczeń i przemyśleń poczynionych przez samego Ignacego, nasza emocjonalność doświadczana niejednokrotnie jako swoisty i często niezrozumiały „gwar” może, w rzeczywistości, stanowić równie emocjonalną, czytelną „mowę”. „Mowę”, która staje się zrozumiałą z chwilą, gdy potrafimy właściwie „rozczytać”, czyli rozpoznać i zrozumieć, doświadczane przez nas w tej sferze emocjonalno-uczuciowe przeżycia.

The goal of this study is an interpretative attempt at human emotionality, and to be more specific, its emotional form of expression in various experiences of joy and sadness, in the light of the principles underlying one of the schools of Christian spirituality, i.e. the one proposed by Igna tius of Loyola (1491-1556). According to this movement of spiritual life, which draws on the centuriesold biblical experience and Christian conception of the emotional dimension of our lives, and which also enriches it with experiences and reflections of Ignatius himself, our emotionality – not infrequently experienced as a peculiar and often incomprehensible “babble” – may in fact be construed as equally emotional and lucid “speech.” Such “speech” becomes comprehensible the moment we are able to properly “read,” that is recognize and understand the emotional experiences that we are exposed to in this sphere.

The post-synodic liturgical renewal increasingly emphasizes the presence and work of the Holy Spirit in the Eucharist and thus supplements the centuries-old deficiencies in the theology of the Eucharist and its celebration. This article first shows the lack of explicit references to the Holy Spirit in the pre-synodic liturgy and in the encyclical Mediator Dei Pius XII (1947). Appreciating liturgical renewal and the Constitution, Sacrosanctum Concilium points to the pneumatological boundaries of the Constitution. In the main part, the author discerns the nature of the Holy Spirit’s work in individual parts of the Eucharist, at the same time undertaking the moral and spiritual discernment of the attitudes of the priest and the faithful, which is required by participation in the Eucharist lived in the Holy Spirit.

Posoborowa odnowa liturgiczna coraz bardziej podkreśla obecność i działanie Ducha Świętego w Eucharystii i przez to uzupełnia wielowiekowe braki w teologii Eucharystii i w jej celebracji. Artykuł ukazuje najpierw brak wyraźnych odniesień do Ducha Świętego w przedsoborowej liturgii i w encyklice Mediator Dei Piusa XII (1947). Doceniając odnowę liturgiczną, rozpatruje Konstytucję Sacrosanctum Concilium i wskazuje na pneumatologiczne granice owej konstytucji. W zasadniczej części autor dokonuje rozeznania natury działania Ducha Świętego w poszczególnych częściach Eucharystii, podejmując zarazem moralne i duchowe rozeznanie postaw kapłana i wiernych, jakiego domaga się udział w Eucharystii przeżywany w Duchu Świętym.

Celem tego studium jest próba interpretacji ludzkiej emocjonalności w jej uczuciowej formie wyrazu w postaci przeżyć radości i smutku, w świetle zało­żeń jednej ze szkół duchowości chrześcijańskiej, mianowicie tej zapropono­wanej przez Ignacego Loyolę (1491–1556). Według tego nurtu życia ducho­wego, czerpiącego zarówno z wielowiekowego doświadczenia biblijnego i chrześcijańskiego rozumienia emocjonalno-uczuciowego wymiaru naszego życia, jak i wniesionych do niego doświadczeń i przemyśleń poczynionych przez samego Ignacego, nasza emocjonalność doświadczana niejednokrotnie jako swoisty i często niezrozumiały „gwar” może, w rzeczywistości, stanowić równie emocjonalną, czytelną „mowę”. „Mowę”, która staje się zrozumiała z chwilą, gdy potrafimy właściwie „rozczytać”, czyli rozpoznać i zrozumieć, doświadczane przez nas w tej sferze emocjonalno-uczuciowe przeżycia. Lektura uczuć, o której mowa w tytule tej części, to pewna propozycja zdroworozsądkowo mądrościowego rozczytywania naszych zarówno emocjo­nalnych, jak i emocjonalno-duchowych przeżyć i stanów szeroko rozumia­nych radości i/lub smutków oraz ich analizowania i interpretowania w poszu­kiwaniu nierzadko zawartych w nich istotnych dla nas znaczeń, których swego rodzaju nośnikami, czy też formami wyrazu, są niejednokrotnie właś­nie tego rodzaju doświadczenia.

The purpose of this paper is to attempt to interpret human emotionality as expressed in the experiences of joy and sadness, in view of the precepts of one of the schools of Christian spirituality: Ignatius Loyola’s teachings (1491– 1556). According to this current of spiritual philosophy, which draws on the centuries-old experience of the biblical and Christian understanding of the emotional dimension of our lives, as well as the experiences and thoughts of Ignatius himself, our emotionality-often experienced as a kind of incom­prehensible “buzz”-may, in reality, constitute equally emotional, legi­ble “speech.” This “speech” becomes understandable when we can properly “read,” that is, recognize and understand, the emotional experiences we expe­rience in this sphere. The article’s reading feeling is a proposal of commonsen­sical–sapiential deciphering of both our emotional and emotional–spiritual experiences and joys and sorrows, as well as analyzing and interpreting them in the search for relevant meanings that they often carry or express.
