Radiolocation reconnaissance, a sensitive and one of the key elements in the Polish Armed Forces’ functioning, constitutes the basic kind of reconnaissance of aerial objects in the air defence system in our country. For more than sixty years it has been organized and carried out by Radiotechnical Forces undergoing different phases. Radiolocation reconnaissance makes the foundation of building situational awareness in airspace. However, it also has some limitations which should be taken into consideration by a professional recipient of information from radiolocation sources.

Wnioski: Wnikliwy wywiad medyczny, łącznie z wynikami powszechnie dostępnych i względnie tanich, nieinwazyjnych badań dodatkowych, takich jak elektrokardiografia i echokardiografia, umożliwił rozpoznanie ARVC u prezentowanej pacjentki.

Background: The arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (ARVC) is a rare and genetically determined heart disease. Its first manifestation might be a sudden cardiac death which usually affects young and apparently healthy people. The diagnosis of ARVC is based on Task Force diagnostic criteria. Aim of the study: The aim of this study was to present the rules of diagnostic procedures in patients suspected to be suffering from ARVC. Material and methods: This article demonstrates current diagnostic criteria of ARVC on the example of a 24-year-old female patient with sustained ventricular tachycardia and cardiac arrest. Case description: The patient met four major criteria of Task Force which resulted from the abnormalities in imaging and electrocardiographic examinations. Conclusions: The precise examination based on the medical history and commonly available non-invasive and relatively cheap tests, i.e. electrocardiography and echocardiography, enabled the ARVC diagnosis in the patient.

Although  the use of anagnorisis in literature dates back to ancient times, it is still easily found in Henryk Sienkiewicz’s works. Aristotle defines anagnorisis as "a change from ignorance to knowledge, producing love or hate between the persons destined by the poet for good or bad fortune". This literary device appears in almost all novels by Sienkiewicz and is always aptly incorporated in a way which is a logical consequence of the events and which leads to revealing some kind of mystery. Coupled with dynamic plot, remarkable protagonists, and devices typical of Walterscottism, it accounts for the attractiveness of Sienkiewicz’s works. Most frequently, it is a recognition of a character be it against their will or at their volition, but also self-recognition, a moral or ideological initiation. The most excellent ones include anagnorisis in Whirlpools (solving the secret  of Agnes Anney), in Sir Michael (unmasking Asia), and in The Deluge (Kmicic’s rehabilitation). In each novel the anagnorises used have intended impact on the reader and induce the empathic effect of Catharsis.

This article contains a summary of the research conducted in the Military University of Aviation concerning the problems of warfare use of unmanned aerial vehicles. It indicates the operational needs of the air force at the modern and future battlefield and the resulting requirements for unmanned aerial vehicles. The present paper outlines the areas of the potential applications and types of unmanned platforms useful for these tasks. It presents the technical and operational requirements and indicates the directions of future research necessary to expand the combat capabilities of these machines. It defines the potential groups of combat and support tasks that may be performed by unmanned aerial vehicles in the future. Conceptual solutions for the use of unmanned platforms at the battlefield and the problems of introducing new means of destruction and extending the autonomy and viability of the platforms are also presented in the present article.

An analysis of this text reveals the two essential issues handled in the epistle: (1) the constant presence of the theme of God considered from the viewpoint of His glory and (2) an ultimate Christocentrism of all content references in the image of God. The word “glory” (δόξα) appears five times, always in key places of the inspired text under study. The epistle exposes the theology of faith from the aspects of knowledge and calling, so as to successively reveal the mystery of Jesus Christ being the Divine Person – in the context of the Divine Trinity – and, furthermore, to disclose His subsequent Christological titles leading to a complete revelation in the expression: “Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ” (κύριος ἡμῶν καὶ σωτήρ Ἰησοῦς Χριστός). At the same time, the epistle describes the main practical goal, i.e. “partaking of the divine nature” (cf. 2 Peter 1 : 4) through “God and Jesus, our Lord” (θεός καὶ Ἰησοῦς κύριος ἡμῶν), and the method of reaching this goal; it also warns against going a different way by contrasting the two dimensions of reality: the earthly and the eternal.

Analiza przebiegu treści 2 Listu św. Piotra ujawnia poruszane w tekście dwie zasadnicze kwestie: (1) ciągła obecność tematu Boga w aspekcie Jego chwały i (2) ostateczny chrystocentryzm wszystkich odniesień treściowych w obrazie Boga. 2 P 1, 4) dzięki „Bogu i Jezusowi Panu naszemu” (θεός καὶ Ἰησοῦς κύριος ἡμῶν) – z równoczesnym przestrzeganiem przed pójściem inną drogą – przeciwstawiając sobie dwa wymiary rzeczywistości: doczesny i wieczny.
