Autorka rozpatruje gwarowe nazwy roślin z perspektywy socjolingwistycznej. Stwierdza, że nazwy te należą do słownictwa ginącego w gwarach. Młode pokolenie użytkowników gwar nie rozróżnia gatunków roślin ani nie zna ich gwarowych nazw. Autorka docieka przyczyn tej sytuacji.

The author discusses dialectal plant names from a sociolinguistic perspective concluding that they belong to disappearing dialectal vocabulary. It is observed that contemporary young speakers of dialects are not familiar with the different species of plants, let alone their dialectal names. Additionally, the paper focuses on the reasons for this situation.
