Article presents a genesis and capabilities of the non-commercial Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) available on platforms Coursera, Udacity and EdX. Massachusetts Institute of Technology electronics course 6.002x was selected as a case study. Course curriculum, tasks construction, examination procedures and technical issues are analyzed. Article discusses introduction of MOOC into everyday school practice.

Artykuł prezentuje genezę i ofertę dydaktyczną masowych otwartych kursów internetowych – Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) dostępnych na platformach Coursera, Udacity i EdX. Jako studium przypadku zostaje przeanalizowany kurs elektroniki 6.002x prowadzony przez Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Przedmiotem analizy metodycznej są: program, sposób konstrukcji zadań, mechanizm weryfikacji wiedzy i strona techniczna kursu. Przedstawiono propozycje użycia poszczególnych kursów w nauczaniu fizyki, chemii, biologii, matematyki i informatyki oraz w doradztwie zawodowym związanym z tymi dziedzinami. Omówiono przykłady zastosowania kursów do doskonalenia zawodowego nauczycieli.

The article presents the findings of the research conducted in order to learn physical education teachers’ opinions on the implementation of the health edu- cation content. The study was carried out in lower and upper secondary schools located in the region of Upper Silesia (Poland). A quantitative method was used to gather and analyse data. The survey was conducted with a specially designed questionnaire including 17 items. The research was based on the analysis of core curriculum concerning the objectives and content of health education planned to be implemented during physical education classes in lower and upper secondary schools. The research allowed for identifying potential gaps and good practices in school-based health education and health promotion in the Polish socio-cultural conditions.

Aim. The aim of the research is to identify and analyse the particularities of a dual model of practical professional and educational training of future vocational school teachers in Germany; to outline the prospects for the use of advanced ideas and positive experience of such a model in the training teachers in higher pedagogical educational institutions. Methods. The following methods have been used: interpretative - analytical method, some elements of general philosophical dialectical method (analysis, synthesis, analogy, comparing, systematisation, generalisation); empirical level methods (interview, observation); the method of theoretical generalisation. Results. The prospects of using the positive experience of a dual model of practical professional and pedagogical training of teachers of vocational school in Germany in a similar practice of teacher training have been determined: initiation of previous practical activity in the production of the chosen speciality as a necessary prerequisite for admission to a higher education institution; introduction of pedagogical internship; cooperation of higher education institutions with enterprises, institutions and organisations. Conclusion. A dual model of organising practical vocational training for future vocational school teachers, guarantees a high level of practical training for higher education applicants, makes balance among the educational needs of young people, labour market requirements and educational opportunities. Originality. The structure and content of the practical training of future professional school teachers in Germany have been characterised; the features of a dual model approach to its organisation have been investigated.

Audiodeskrypcja to jedna z innowacyjnych technik medialnych, która umożliwia odbiór tekstów kultury wizualnej przez osoby niewidzące lub osoby słabowidzące. Jest efektywnym narzędziem, dzięki któremu osoby niepełnosprawne mogą doświadczać treści dotychczas niedostępnych. Z tych powodów audiodeskrypcja stanowi przedmiot wzmożonego zainteresowania edukacji polisensorycznej. Tekst przedstawia podstawowe ustalenia o audiodeskrypcji oraz prezentuje możliwości wykorzystania jej w praktyce szkolnej na lekcjach języka polskiego. Wskazane w artykule materiały z audiodeskrypcją są środkami dydaktycznymi o ogromnym potencjale edukacyjnym, które proponują uczniom niepełnosprawnym fascynującą podróż przez świat różnych znaków.

The audio description is one of the innovative media technologies, which allows to receive texts visual culture by the persons blind or the people low vision. Is an effective tool through which people with disabilities may experience the contents not yet available. For these reasons, the audio description is the subject of the increased interest in the multisensory education. The text presents the basic findings about the audio description and presents the possibilities of using it in school practice, on the lessons of the Polish language. Indicated in article the audio description’s materials are the teaching resources about the huge potential of education that the students with the disabilities have a fascinating journey through the world of different signs.
