Ocenianie zachowania uczniów na stopień. Szkolna obsesja porządku w świetle matematycznej teorii chaosu

In the paper, I advance a thesis that evaluating pupils’ conduct with marks is a manifestation of linear approach to phenomena related to the processes of education at school and a drive at absolute order, defined with school regulations, which not only does not have to foster pupil’s development, but actually contradicts its regularities. I link my considerations to the mathematical chaos theory. Due to the objectives of the text, I shall refer to its Tyree elements and their educational implications: (1) reality is not linear and it is unpredictable, as a result (2) chaos is a category that does not describe a state at variance with a norm, but the norm itself, and actually (3) it is a prerequisite, potential, the beginning of many processes. Considerations are supported with an analysis of seven dozen regulations for marking conduct.

W tekście stawiam tezę, że ocenianie zachowania uczniów na stopień jest przejawem liniowego ujmowania zjawisk, związanym z procesami wychowania w szkole i dążenia do absolutnego, zdefiniowanego regulaminami szkolnymi, porządku, co nie tylko nie musi służyć rozwojowi ucznia, ale wręcz przeczy jego prawidłowościom. Moje rozważania odnoszę to matematycznej teorii chaosu. Ze względu na cele tekstu przywołam jej trzy elementy i ich edukacyjne implikacje: (1) rzeczywistość jest nielinearna, nieprzewidywalna, w związku z czym (2) chaos jest kategorią opisującą nie stan odbiegający od normy, ale właśnie normę, a nawet (3) jest warunkiem koniecznym, potencjałem, początkiem wielu procesów. Źródłem rozważań jest analiza kilkudzie- sięciu regulaminów oceniania zachowania.
