The issue of keywords in information retrieval system is examined in connection with synonymy in linguistic terminology. There are established relations between general scientific terms and keywords of Slavic linguistics. Some applied lingvodidactic and lingvopragmatic aspects of keywords’ compiling are also presented.

Celem niniejszego, dwuczęściowego, artykułu jest scharakteryzowanie wpływu społecznej (polskiej i rosyjskiej) dyskursywizacji na treści neutralnych terminów naukowych. Przedmiotem rozważań czynimy wybraną nomenklaturę z zakresu Gender Studies: (gender (гендер), homoseksualizm (гомосексуализм / гомосексуальность), LGBT (ЛГБТ)). Po zarysowaniu ramy metodologicznej (analiza dyskursu) krótko opisujemy badania genderowe oraz neutralne znaczenia interesujących nas określeń. Na tym tle sprawdzamy, jak – na poziomie leksykalnym – kształtowało się nienaukowe zainteresowanie zjawiskami z zakresu badań genderowych. W drugiej zaś części wskażemy głównych aktorów debaty wokół Gender Studies oraz podstawowe schematy argumentacyjne, którymi się posługują. Na końcu rozważamy wpływ społecznej dyskursywizacji na dyskurs naukowy. Nasze badania mają charakter raczej zestawienia niż porównania.

he aim of this paper is to present the impact of discourse social practices on the content of scientific terms. Chosen nomenclature such as: gender (ru. гендер), homosexuality (pl. homoseksualizm;ru. гомосексуализм / гомосексуальность), LGBT (ru. ЛГБТ) is researched. First, the methodological frame is established (discourse analysis), which is followed by a description of Gender Studies and the significance of the researched terms. With this background, it is analyzed how the non-scientific interest in the terms proper for Gender Studies was forming. Subsequently, the main actors of the debates concerning Gender Studies and basic argumentation schemas are pointed out.

In the age of globalization and internationalization of science and technology, the need arises to not only teach general language but also its specialized variations. The knowledge of academic register is necessary to receive university degrees, which creates new challenges in language education. Thanks to the sociolinguistic competence, language users are able to communicate not only in the private sphere but also in public, educational and professional contexts. The aim of the article is to describe the scientific language and scientific terms against the background of other varieties of the Polish language. The author explains the difference between the varieties of the Polish language in Poland and the linguistic situation of Polish emigrants.

W dobie globalizacji i umiędzynarodowienia nauki i techniki rodzi się potrzeba nauczania nie tylko języka ogólnego, ale również odmian specjalistycznych. Podstawą edukacji w językach obcych jest przyswojenie języka akademickiego, co stawia nowe wyzwania przed glottodydaktyką. Dzięki nabyciu kompetencji socjolingwistycznej użytkownicy języka mogą komunikować się nie tylko w sferze prywatnej, ale również w sferze publicznej, edukacyjnej i przede wszystkim zawodowej. Celem artykułu jest charakterystyka stylu naukowego i terminów na tle odmian języka polskiego. Autorka wyjaśnia różnicę między wariantywnością języka w kraju a sytuacją językową pokolenia emigracyjnego i pokoleń polonijnych za granicą.
