Artykuł dotyczy działalności naukowej jako tematu i podłoża gier typu live-action role-playing. Nauka jako zjawisko społeczne łączy wyzwania, piękno, odkrycie, relacje społeczne, złożone modele umysłowe i wiele innych możliwych do ujęcia w grze kwestii. Jednocześnie larpy o nauce mogą być istotnym narzędziem popularyzacji myślenia naukowego. Tekst pokazuje, jak tłumaczyć główne cechy metody naukowej na język larpów. Zwraca też uwagę na problemy i szanse, jakie niesie gra w prawdziwą naukę.

This article covers scientific activity as a topic and a background for live-action role-playing. Science as a social phenomenon combines challenge, beauty, discovery, social relations, complex mind models, and many other playable things. At the same time larps about science might be a strong tool for popularising the scientific way of thinking. The paper shows how to translate the main features of the scientific method to the language of larp. It also draws attention to the problems and opportunities of playing real science.
